Hannah joined Flood Chalmers Meade in January 2015 while completing her practical legal training. She was admitted into practice in July 2015 and has now been practicing law for eight years. She currently leads a small team specialising in advice on across all aspects of Wills, Deceased Estates, Estate Planning, and estate Litigation.

Hannah completed her Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Business (Accounting), a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law and has most recently completed her Masters in Applied Law, majoring in Wills and Estate. 

 

She predominantly practices and specialises in Wills and Deceased Estate matters, including but not limited to Administration of Estates for Executors and Administrators; Resealing Australian grants of Probate from interstate; Claims to share in Superannuation benefits; Will Disputes, Challenges and litigation; Preparation of Wills; Preparation Powers of Attorney;  Guardianship and Administration applications and providing advice on exit entitlements for Retirement Village on death or for aged care requirements. 

 

Hannah helps clients by providing a sense of protection through current and future estate planning and through the hard times of losing a loved one. Documentation and issues can be complex, so Hannah will try and find balance in the legal terminology to what decisions mean in simple language, to ensure clients understand all aspects. Her personable nature combined with her knowledge of the law makes people feel at ease. 

 

Hannah litigates matters both in court and through alternative dispute resolution and has obtained excellent results for clients. Hannah is always open and honest in the way she conducts herself and will provide you with truthful and frank advice regarding your matter. 

 

Hannah also has extensive knowledge and experience in Commercial and Retail Leasing, Sale and Purchase of Businesses and Commercial and Business Law.

 

She is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.                  

In all matters, Hannah focuses on building a rapport with her clients and understanding their needs and requirements. She is proactive and flexible with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Away from work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, friends, her dog Coco, enjoying movies and keeping active.
